Studio Move

We (Winchester Talking Newspaper) need to find new premises for a studio before the end of this year. It may seem early to be thinking about the move but we have formed a five-strong working party and are setting our priorities, so that the move doesn't end up being rushed.
We are contacting Winchester City Council and all the major letting agents in the city.  We are producing leaflets and posters and doing what we can to inform local media and businesses about our needs.

Our needs

We need a room about 150–200sq ft with access to electricity and a WC.  A phone line would also be ideal, although we would probably need to install it ourselves.

Like most TNs, we have no regular income and rely on donations and bequests. Our dream is that a generous benefactor will come forward to provide us with premises, free of charge, in return for the kudos of being the major benefactor of a leading Winchester charity. However, we are realists.

We would like to hear from anyone who can give us advice. We are facing a daunting prospect and any help will be most welcome.  If you have any ideas or information which may help us in our search, please enter it in the "Add new comment" section below and send it to us.  We will be able to see your name and email address but they won't be visible on the  public page.

Thank you & best wishes
